We're looking for an experienced Brand Strategy leader to help shape positioning, messaging, and growth initiatives for leading B2B organizations. This strategic, hands-on role focuses on solving complex business challenges through brand thinking, leading engagements from discovery to execution, and delivering measurable business outcomes through strong strategy and AI-enabled workflows.

About the Role.

We're looking for an experienced Brand Strategy leader to work closely with our Founder, helping shape brand strategy, positioning, and growth initiatives for a leading B2B organization.

This is a highly strategic, hands-on consulting role for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges through brand thinking. You'll lead engagements from discovery through delivery, defining positioning, strengthening messaging, and translating strategy into meaningful business outcomes.

The ideal candidate combines strong strategic judgment, experience in agency or brand consultancy environments, and a modern approach to work that leverages AI to improve the quality, speed, and effectiveness of their thinking and execution.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Lead the development of brand positioning, strategy, architecture, messaging frameworks, value propositions, and brand governance
  • Translate complex business challenges into clear brand strategies and market positioning
  • Develop messaging platforms and brand narratives that support long-term business growth
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, strategic workshops, and alignment meetings
  • Develop integrated campaign strategies and go-to-market initiatives
  • Transform strategic recommendations into actionable execution plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across projects, timezones, and client teams
  • Ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints
  • Manage campaign and marketing budgets, making strategic investment decisions and tracking performance
  • Present recommendations and strategic thinking to executive stakeholders
  • Lead multiple strategic initiatives with a high degree of autonomy

What We're Looking For.

AI-enabled (essential). Naturally integrates AI into daily work to accelerate and strengthen client outcomes; impact matters more than tools.

5+ years in agency or brand consultancy (required). Ogilvy, Interbrand, Landor, Prophet, BBDO, or equivalent. Quality of work matters more than the name on the door.

B2B experience (required). Preferably Tech, SaaS, Enterprise Software, or Manufacturing.

Director-level seniority. Highly autonomous, strong executive presence. Senior Managers seeking more ownership are also considered.

North American and global collaboration experience. Experience working with North American companies and collaborating effectively across distributed teams, multiple time zones, and cross-cultural environments.

Brand strategy depth. Positioning, architecture, messaging frameworks, value proposition, brand governance.

Business mindset. Translates business objectives into brand strategy; connects perception to commercial outcomes.

Campaign execution. Integrated campaigns, go-to-market, brand narratives, from strategy through delivery.

Executive communication. Comfortable leading workshops, presenting to C-level, and facilitating strategic alignment.

Demonstrated impact. Able to walk us through positioning, messaging, go-to-market, and brand transformation work with measurable business outcomes.

What This Role Is Not.

This role is not focused on graphic design, art direction, creative production, visual design, or content creation. We're looking for a strategist who uses branding to solve business challenges, not a creative producer.

Selection Process.

  1. Initial Interview. Conversation with the Founder on experience, strategic thinking, and overall fit.
  1. Final Interview. Deep dive on past strategic work and final assessment of experience and alignment with the role.
